Are you a skilled technical professional with a passion for maintenance and repair? Gerritsen is seeking an experienced Mobile Equipment Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining, repairing, and optimizing our fleet of machines and equipment, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
What will you do?
As a Mobile Equipment Mechanic at Gerritsen, you will play a vital role in keeping our machines and equipment running smoothly and safely. Your responsibilities include:
- Performing maintenance and repair work on machines and installations, such as forklifts, cranes, and small tools.
- Carrying out quality inspections to ensure the reliability and safety of equipment.
- Analyzing and resolving technical faults, and implementing improvements where necessary.
- Performing metalworking activities such as welding, cutting, and milling.
- Maintaining an efficient, safe, and tidy workshop together with your colleagues.
Who are you?
- You have an MBO-level education or equivalent working and thinking level, preferably in Mobile Equipment Mechanics or All-Round Vehicle and Mobile Equipment Technology.
- You hold a forklift and aerial work platform certificate or are willing to obtain them.
- You are able to read technical drawings and have solid technical insight.
- You work accurately, are solution-oriented, and have strong attention to detail.
- You are a true team player with a proactive attitude.
- You are available to work one Saturday morning every four weeks.
